1995

First three Products

Real Chocolate Industry was established in Desa Serdang and the company introduced their first three products: the Triangle Chocolate Bar, Popcorn Chocolate and the Almond and Assorted Nuts Milk Chocolate tin. Supermarkets and duty free shops were initially the targeted outlets for these products.

1996

Began Exporting

The company began exporting to the Philippines.

1998

Camior

the Triangle Chocolate Bar was replaced by Camior

1999

New Factory at Seri Kembangan

The move to a new factory in the Seri Kembangan Industrial Park enabled the use of better equipment and more advanced machinery to cope with growing demand.

2000

Change of Company Name

New chocolate varieties were introduced and the company officially changed its name to Beryl’s Chocolate and Confectionary Sdn Bhd.

2001

Black Bitter & Panned Chocolate selection

Beryl’s introduced the new and improved Camior chocolate bar with both a new shape and packaging. The Black Bitter Chocolate and the 500g jar Panned Chocolate selection were also introduced to the Malaysian market.

2003

New Tiramisu Almond Chocolate

The rapid growth in demand saw the need for new production facilities so the factory capacity was extended. The new Tiramisu Almond Chocolate product was also developed.

2004

The Launch of New Black Bitter Chocolate

The Black Bitter line was renewed including the introduction of new products and an improved recipe. Other new product lines were launched as well.

2005

New flagship retail outlet

The Chocolate Wonderland, the new flagship retail outlet, was opened at the factory and members of the public were welcomed to taste the diverse range of Beryl’s products.

2006

Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom

A second outlet – Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom was opened in Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.

2007

The Global Export of Our Products

Beryl’s chocolates can now be found across a number of countries including Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Maldives, Indonesia, Philippines, New Zealand, Saipan, Brunei, Macau, Dubai and China.

2010

Beryl’s educational tour

Beryl’s educational tour for students was launched, allowing children to tour the factory and learn how chocolates are made and packaged.
